The Ministry of Technology Sri Lanka joins the DPGA as a member
Today, the Ministry of Technology Sri Lanka joined the Digital Public Goods Alliance as a new member. Sri Lanka has a long history of using DPGs such as DHIS2 in the health sector, and plays an active role in contributing back to the global DHIS2 community; has adopted DIVOC for digital open credentialing for Sri Lanka’s Smart Vaccination Certificate for Covid-19; and adopted MOSIP as the platform for the upcoming Sri Lanka Unique Digital Identity (SLUDI) implementation.
In addition to their DPG adoption, the Ministry of Technology will help advance the DPG ecosystem by sharing their knowledge and experience using DPGs in its digital government transformation and will work to create awareness on open-source and DPGs amongst ICT vendors to build capacity to serve global demand.
Learn about this work and much more on Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Technology website, or on the 2023 DPGA Roadmap.
