- Content from StoryWeaver is uploaded on Diksha - India MoE’s largest OER repository of open access digital content infrastructure for national education - StoryWeaver and its resources have been adopted by MoEs in Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Punjab, Goa and Kerala (KITES) in their direct to child and teacher skilling interventions. - StoryWeaver collaborated with Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to implement its Reading Mission, a 2-year initiative to promote reading literacy across 26,000 schools. - During the last year, we partnered with the MoEs of states like Chhattisgarh, Goa, Karnataka and Maharashtra in India to deliver print, digital and audio books to children who had little or no access to them. In partnership with State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), storybooks from StoryWeaver were printed and distributed across 30,000 primary schools reaching 2.6 million children in Chhattisgarh, and in 42,000 schools reaching 4 million children in Maharashtra with the aim of building foundational literacy skills in mother tongue languages. - Curated set of storybooks providing a diverse and inclusive understanding of gender, were distributed in schools in the underserved district of Osmanabad, Maharashtra, India in collaboration with the District Institute of Education & Training (DIET), and UNICEF with an aim to create positive shifts in perspectives around gender and self-awareness for young learners. - We partnered with the MoE, Indonesia to augment storybooks in Bahasa Indonesia for dissemination at scale, both online and in print formats for underserved island communities. Sustained beneficiaries of StoryWeaver are spread across multiple contexts of use, such as, - Having seen the rapid adoption and extensive usage of StoryWeaver, coupled with a strong belief that many more can benefit from the platform, StoryWeaver released a white-label version of its platform to Room to Read, Indonesia in 2018 under the Apache 2.0 license. Room to Read has customized and launched their version of StoryWeaver and called it Literacy Cloud (https://literacycloud.org/ ) - StoryWeaver’s open content philosophy has made it possible for the content to be integrated into several other apps and platforms like Google ReadAlong, and Literacy Now - Globally, library advocacy orgs like AfLIA from Africa, Darakht-e Danesh Library from Afghanistan, and CBOs like Endless Oaxaca Multilingue in Mexico among many others have been engaging with StoryWeaver to augment and integrate hyperlocal language libraries and resources from the platform in their programmes and interventions. - StoryWeaver content in digital formats is integrated on ed tech platforms (like Sampark, ConveGenius, Million Sparks, Stones2Milestones, Meghshala etc..) - Storybooks from StoryWeaver are also adapted in digital textbooks and print text books by publishers like Pearson, Macmillan, Fortuna pix, SAAR Education, Harper Collins
