Sri Lanka Unique Digital Identity (SLUDI) Implementation Project
Sri Lanka embarked on an ambitious journey to implement Sri Lanka Unique Digital Identity (SLUDI) to provide every citizen with a National Unique Digital Identifier, revolutionizing the way digital interactions and transactions are conducted. By eliminating duplications in identity records across government departments, SLUDI seeks to ensure data accuracy and efficiency in government operations. The scope of the project aims to create a robust digital identity system for Sri Lankan citizens. It involves supplying, installing, commissioning, and maintaining hardware and software systems, including biometric systems. Also, the project focuses on seamless integration with government departments and adherence to Service Level Agreements. It aims to address duplications and inefficiencies, streamline processes, and enhance security. The SLUDI leverages the MOSIP platform as the core solution for its implementation.

National Data Exchange (NDX) of Sri Lanka for achieving interoperatability
There is a pressing need for a centralized, secure, and efficient data exchange platform that can facilitate the seamless sharing and integration of data across various sectors in the government of Sri Lanka. This platform is essential for enhancing the accuracy and timeliness of information, promoting data-driven decision-making, and improving overall governance and public service delivery. The current data management systems in Sri Lanka are fragmented and inefficient, leading to significant challenges in data sharing and accessibility among governmental agencies, private sector entities, and the public. This fragmentation results in duplication of efforts, inconsistencies in data quality, and delays in obtaining critical information, which hampers effective decision-making and policy implementation. The NDX project will address these issues by facilitating seamless data sharing among government agencies with greater interoperability
