EPDS-Data Infrastructure This project aims to develop a DPG-based platform for national development planning by creating a data exchange hub for social, economic, geospatial, and demographic data. It will improve efficiency, transparency, and evidence-based decision-making across government agencies to advance national and sustainable development goals. The platform integrates multiple DPGs for secure data management, including registry, collection, structuring, publication, reuse, and exchange. Key benefits include centralized data access for better policymaking, transparency, interoperability, and fostering civic innovation. A pilot phase will integrate key datasets into a CKAN-based backend with infrastructure from Gravitee.io and XROAD for interoperability. Sustainability will be ensured through open standards, stakeholder engagement, and building a user-contributor community. The project, under formulation, will eventually be accessible at data.economia.gob.do.

Continuing the development of Frictionless Data, an open-source framework for building data infrastructure—data management, integration, and flows—designed to reduce common data workflow issues ("friction"). The project includes data standards and software tools to make working with data easier. Key tasks include: - **Data Structure Design**: Creating a structure based on open standards, including categories, attributes, and relationships, ensuring consistency and enabling dataset sharing as DPGs. **Data Model Development**: Developing conceptual and logical data models using industry standards to ensure interoperability and scalability.
