SDG2: IASO is the underlying open source software to an UN nutrition program solution for beneficiary tracking. SDG 3: IASO has become a trusted name for health data management with implementations in 12 countries and two large-scale multi-country projects, in support to the Global Polio Eradication Initiative and an UN nutrition program solution. Main projects range from health systems PBF (Performance Based Financing) schemes data collection, georegistries, health maps update, geo-enabled microplanning as well as end-to-end health campaigns digitalization. SDG4: IASO was used to locate schools and collect key data about each of them in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

PII data is collected and stored but NOT distributed.
This is a generic data collection platform used in health system. It's possible to collect personal information both on patients/beneficiaries and workers using the system. The project has a strong focus on security of the data stored, on restricting access to data to only the authorized users, based on their geographical and managerial features, in the goal of avoiding doing harm to end users by letting their data be communicated outside of the scope they intended it for. The project also features lots of traceability features, allowing to understand where changes to data are coming from and detect potential abuse. Finally, by focussing on open formats, the project aims at keeping the collected data usable outside of Iaso, so that efforts invested in the software are not lost if in the future the development is discontinued. All data collection efforts are benefiting from password protection. Data access is segmented and access to the data collection interfaces does not mean access to all the data collected in underlying efforts. Passwords are encrypted and all traffic to non secure http are redirected to https.
