SDG3: Good Health and Well-Being Somleng is powering multiple mobile health initiatives including in Cambodia, Guatemala and Zambia. For example, in Guatemala, Somleng is powering UNICEF's program to promote behavior change for the prevention of childhood malnutrition with mobile phone technology. In this program, Somleng delivers voice messages relating to positive parenting practices to caregivers in 7 native Mayan languages. More info (https://www.somleng.org/case_studies.html#mhealth-unicef-guatemala) SDG8: Decent Work and Economic Growth Individuals and small organizations can generate revenue by offering communications-platform-as-a-service (CPaaS) connectivity in their country/region via Somleng. For example, in Burkina Faso, Ticanalyse (http://www.ticanalyse.org) is using Somleng to provide CPaaS connectivity to local organizations and businesses. Ticanalyse can then directly generate new income streams by providing these services, creating jobs and creating economic growth in developing countries. Somleng also includes telco-as-a-service (TaaS) functionality out of the box. This is being used by telcos to provide their customers with CPaaS services. For example, in Mexico, Somleng is powering C3ntro Telecom's CPaaS (https://www.somleng.org/case_studies.html#powering-cpaas-mexico). This allows C3ntro to directly compete with global big-tech giants (e.g. Twilio), by offering a localized product. This in-turn keeps revenues in country, contributing to economic growth and decent work.
